The Billionaire's Temptress

I love stories with a twist in their tale!

Having read a lot of romance stories in my time, the two things I always felt they lacked was a twist in the tale, and any real sense of humour.

Many people complain that romance stories follow a magic 'formula' - and that if you've read one, you've read 'em all! I can see where they're coming from. A lot of the romance stories I've read are pretty one dimensional.

The Billionaire's Temptress was my humble attempt to write a story that remained true to the notion of a 'classic' romance story (happily ever after ending etc etc) but also a story that featured an unexpected, and pleasant surprise at the ending.

I worried a lot over this story. Every word was painstaking. I was constantly worried about treading the line between drawing out the mis-direction, and revealing the twist because I was too clumsy with my words.

It has been a huge and very pleasant relief to see how well the story has been received by readers around the world. The reviews have been absolutely wonderful and it seems that I did manage (somehow) to keep the surprise until right at the very end. That was more luck than literary skill, but I'm glad the story came to life, and that I was able to give everyone the surprise I had in mind when I first dreamed up the idea.

PS: If I had my time over again, I would have chosen a different title for the story. I've never really been happy with the current title...
