Authors of Influence

In the genre that I write in, the three big names (as far as I am concerned!) are Sylvia Day, E L James and Sara Fawkes.

Each of these authors has had an influence on the stories I write.

I think my style is different... and I think the way I tell a story is different, but '50 Shades of Grey' by E L James had a mighty influence inspiring me. 

I could say the same for 'Bared to You' by Sylvia Day, and the most recent Sylvia Day book, 'Reflected in You'. Sylvia Day tells a good story, and she writes well. The way she created her characters was another source of inspiration.

Sara Fawkes writes the 'Anything He Wants' series of stories. I like Sara's style. I like the compactness of her sentences, and the way she describes scenes. 

So, these are the authors that most inspired me to write romance. How about you? Who are your favourite authors in the erotic romance genre?
